Empowering Support Services
Community Coaching
Community Coaching helps individuals build daily living skills and confidence. We assist with community integration, recreation, public transportation, and travel safety. Our coaches focus on grocery shopping, budgeting, and meal planning. We also support communication, social skills, time management, and self-advocacy to help you make positive decisions.
Community Engagement
Community Engagement helps individuals stay active and build social skills at parks, libraries, and local events. We focus on friendships, community safety, and accessing resources like banks and shops. Our support includes transportation training and help with volunteer activities, fostering independence and problem-solving skills in public spaces.
Peer Monitor Support
Peer Monitor Support offers mentoring from someone with similar experiences. We help you reach personal goals, build confidence, and strengthen self-advocacy. Our mentors share strategies for daily challenges, help build positive relationships, and encourage group participation. Together, we work on communication and navigating available resources.
Community Guide
Community Guide helps families find and connect with vital local resources. We identify supports for housing, education, and vocational training. Our guides help you navigate disability services and recreation programs. We also assist in finding transportation and employment resources to build natural supports for long-term independence.
Companion Services
Companion Services offers one on one support at home and in the community. A companion might ride the bus with someone, go to the grocery store, help plan meals, or join them at a community event. We focus on safety, social connection, and daily routines while honoring each person’s choices, so individuals with developmental disabilities in Virginia can stay active and as independent as possible.
Workplace Assistance Services
Workplace Assistance Services provides the dedicated support needed to thrive in a professional environment. We help individuals navigate job tasks, workplace social dynamics, and daily routines with confidence.
